Veiling and Revealing: SF1OG at Berlin Fashion Week 2026
At Berlin Fashion Week 2026, the Oribe team, led by Hair Lead Jesús Rodríguez, crafted a series of looks that echoed the collection’s central tension—where restraint meets expression.

For Autumn/Winter 2026, SF1OG merges two contrasting worlds: the late 2000s and the Victorian era. At its core lies an exploration of hiding—of what we choose to reveal and what we keep unseen. In the 19th century, mourning dress functioned as both armour and expression; emotion was visible, yet contained. In contrast, the 2000s exposed moments never meant for public view - paparazzi images capturing fragility, unguarded and imperfect. A quiet vulnerability, revealed.
This duality, veiling and unveiling, runs throughout the collection. High-neck silhouettes are nod to Victorian mourning, while layered constructions alternately conceal and expose the body. Familiar yet imperfect materials, such as linen, cashmere, leather, velvet, silk, and sequins, are reimagined through unexpected interventions: miniature screens, objects embedded within fabric. A dialogue between past and present, intimacy and display.
Hair followed suit.

The aesthetic resists perfection, embracing something more instinctive—undone, rebellious. Rooted in a post-millennial sensibility circa 2010, the hair looks feature deep side parts with exaggerated side fringes. For the runway, Rodríguez and the Oribe styling team created matte, softly waved textures for female models, contrasted with textured, disconnected crops for male models. Elevated hairpieces were seamlessly integrated to enhance fringe detail and silhouette.

Backstage, the artistry was anchored by Oribe essentials - each chosen to sculpt texture, amplify movement, and deliver a refined, understated finish.
Oribe Foundation Mist primed the hair with weightless hydration, while Oribe Swept Up Volume Powder Spray and Oribe Thick Dry Finishing Spray built structure, grit, and a touch of restrained sheen.
