Is bond building the same as repairing damage?

Both bond building and damage repair refer to the restoration of the hair fiber. The objective is to improve overall quality and resilience. The Hair Alchemy Bond Building Elixir focuses on restoring hydrogen, ionic, and disulfide bonds for hair that’s stronger and more resilient. If your hair is weak, fragile, or breaks frequently, treat it to this serum for strengthening and light-weight moisture.

Does this product offer heat or UV protection?

It doesn’t, but it has a light stabilizing ingredient to offer UV protection. For 450° F heat protection and additional strengthening benefits, layer on Hair Alchemy Fortifying Treatment Serum after applying the Bond Building Elixir.

How does it fit into my routine?

The Bond Building Elixir should be the first step after washing and conditioning the hair. Use it before layering additional prep or styling products. We recommend first washing with Hair Alchemy Resilience Shampoo, followed by Hair Alchemy Resilience Conditioner. Next –– If you air dry your ahair, style with Hair Alchemy Heatless Styling Balm. If you’re going to heat-style it, prep it with Hair Alchemy Fortifying Treatment Serum. Use your favorite styling product to finish.
