After squeezing out the wet curls with a micro fiber towel, I add the Oribe primer and then this product. I dry with a diffuser, then wait about an hour (I have some seriously THICK hair) and then scrunch again to remove any crunch. Curls are freeze free and defined and soft for 2-3 days. Can re-activate with some water and scrunching if needed between washes.
After going bald twice from chemo, my previously pin straight hair has grown back with coil-y curls. So, at 55, I am learning how to best deal with this new situation. I have been insane with all the products I have tried - from inexpensive (Sun Bum curl shampoo and conditioner actually aren't that bad!), but it was the final step that was proving problematic. Since I am throwing money at the problem, I thought I would try this when I could finally find it in stock somewhere. And we have a hands down winner folks. Even after sleeping on my hair, the curls remain relatively defined and non-frizzy and non-crunchy. Packaging is a bit much, but I will be loyal to this brand for as long as the curls remain. This product is WORTH EVERY DIME.
I love all your products and believe me I have tried as many as possible. I have very short African American hair. When I first tried your product I was amazed at how good it made my hair look and feel. Because it enhances the volume everyone figured that I had used some product that helped my hair to grow and have such nice texture. I had only been using your curl enhancer for a short time. I then tried your Curl Gelee and was amazed at the look and shine. Ill say it agaian. ILOVE YOUR PRODUCTS
Really good quality gel hair product. I have very curly and frizzy hair, and I get quarterly+ keratin treatments to keep the curls and frizz in check. This keeps my curls defined, but not crunchy. The SMELL IS AMAZING, like all Oribes products. The container is slighting difficult to use just because it is a bigger tub, so you have to use 2 hands (as opposed to one hand with the pop-topwhich is what the bottle was a few years ago), however, since you dip your ha FD int the tub, it is easier to control how much you need to use and you can get every last bit of product (no more upside down contraptions squeeze all the product out!). Great for curly- or frizzy-haired people. Smell is divine, albeit very feminine. Will be using for life!
I have fallen in love with Oribe's moisture and control line! I have struggled to find a product that provides true curl definition that doesn't leave my hair feeling crunchy or stiff! This product is amazing! I pair it with the silkening curl creme. Less is more with this gelee; it doesn't take much to cover the hair and it is amazing! I'm so glad that I found this product and it is now part of my regular hair care routine for my wash and go's!
